A Daily Routine

There are plain things about life that often never get reported and so are lost to the dustbin of history, but these things are in many ways the most important. A typical weekday here sees me waking up later than I do in the US, around 9. I make myself coffee with my clear plastic Aeropress. The coffee is purchased from the Banco Santander Work Cafe because it’s good in the way that IPAs tasted good in 2012. I drink coffee and water for about 30 minutes and then make breakfast, which is usually two eggs, tomatoes, toast with butter, and if it’s a good day, half an avocado. I put Sriracha hot sauce on it all and eat it with a spoon.
